The controls are very intuitive and easy to pick up . The game isn't too difficult but finding all the stars can be challenging ( I am yet to find all of them ) .The level and character design is very simple and colorfull .. Simple graphics, bland music and 3 star system gives off mobile game vibe but this game excells in it's level design with the batting average of fun levels being around 85%. The love and respect is clearly felt in it's difficulty and variety. You platformer fan, get it!. A nice Mario 3D Land clone, but VERY buggy. The camery is your worst enemy *1, plus the controls are not as good as in a Mario game, they are not very precise, you have no run button (but you want one, trust me...) and with a camera quickly and at random changing its position, you have a good chance of dying for stupid reasons.Checkpoints and Items are also seems to be placed at random many times, with Checkpoints right before the finish, or timer bonus given so often that the timer is useless.And you will die a lot by choosing the wrong path, as often stars are placed in areas where you need a special item to escape from, which you indeed not know before that... great. You often will not even now that you are on the way to a star.The stars are even given out sometimes "for free", one is sitting right before the end of the level. Why including them at all, if they are meaningless?It also adds nothing new to the formula of Mario 3D Land, everything is copied from the original. So don't expect be "fresh" if you know 3D Land or 3D World. I played the game because I loved the original two games, but without any new ideas, it was like a raw alpha of 3D Land. But a least it was cheap.Plus the Boss fights are really boring, it's hard to not fall alseep while you are waiting for the attack point to be available. They are also more or less the same enemy, with small variations. Not a great fun.*1 = For example, in a later snow level, a snowball is chasing you. But on my playthrough, the camera got stuck 5 of 6 stries on the snowball, while my character was invisible and stayed that way until I was dead. Fantastic.. The music is bad, the controls are terrible, the autoscrollers are the worst I've ever seen, and the bosses are uninspired and time consuming. The 3D Land inspiration is clear however, and some of these levels are pretty fun. If you decide to play this game, listen to your own music on another device.. Bought it just because the price was nice and the designs seemed super cute. Little did I know that this game could make me addicted to it! I got mad in some levels as I knew I was too noob to do it properly, I died a lot of times in a single place, yelled at the controller because it broke trying to do a normal level, got the Steam Controller and got all the freaking stars with it! There are a few bugs with achievements that are already looked into, but since Steam doesn't let you display this game in your achievements' log and all, that's not an issue; we just need to wait for the fix that won't require long!If you like 3D platforms with a scent of Super Mario, this is perfect for you! You even get the coin sound nostalgia ~
